Role Overview

The Transportation Import & Export Manager role at PepsiCo in Chengdu, Sichuan, is a pivotal leadership position within the China Capability Center (ChCC). This role focuses on developing and enhancing import and export capabilities to support business growth across APAC and Asia Foods. You will lead a dedicated team handling end-to-end export processes from forecasting to shipment management, ensuring seamless coordination with global stakeholders, forwarders, and customs authorities. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve high-impact tasks across export operations, reporting, and team leadership:

  • Manage China Export Forecast to Order: Split forecasts for co-manufacturing, confirm supply, receive orders from import markets, coordinate production schedules, and negotiate raw/packaging materials cross-functionally.
  • Oversee China Export Shipment Management: Coordinate with forwarders, DSV, and hubs for ocean freight; handle CIQ processes, COA documents, export declarations, Form E, HS codes, inland costs, and customs inquiries.
  • Conduct KPI Reporting: Perform weekly OTIF analysis (Source, Transit, Destination Customs, PGR), Import/Export and Logistics KPI reviews, and prepare OFR reports for Asia Foods.
  • Provide status updates and feedback to import markets on orders and shipments.
  • Lead the transportation, import, and export team in CHCC, fostering development and alignment with business goals.
