Position Summary: Oversee the day-to-day clinical aspects related to the services of Cardiac Rehab. Implement and maintain the Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase 1 & 2 Program.
What you will do:
Duties include admitting, evaluating, educating, and monitoring the patient’s outcomes throughout the program for the patient to achieve optimal outcomes.
Program accreditation/certification and all associated responsibilities involved in this process.
Creating and maintaining a smoking cessation program for the inpatient population as well as the consumer interested in attending.
Use of the Scott System. Includes printing appropriate stress test documentation, H&P, and lab data from EMR for patients.
Perform initial patient assessments (e.g., cardiovascular fitness, risk factors) and continuously monitor vitals during exercise sessions
Conduct EKGs, stress tests, and telemetry monitoring
What you will need:
BLS- thru American Heart Association
High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) Graduate of ECG/EKG Training program required (in house training available).
Clinical experience in EKG monitoring preferred
