Description:

Shift: Varied

What you will do:

  • Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.  
  • Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift including emergency callback as assigned Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner. 
  • Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. 
  • Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients, other staff, radiologists, students and other management. Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.  
  • Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems. 
  • Utilizes correct process for patient identification Right patient, right exam, right time. 
  • Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation. 
  • Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services. 

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB). 
  • 2+ years CT experience.  CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) required. 
  • Maintains active registry status. 
  • Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License 
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. 
  • Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
