Development Officer for the Mount Carmel Foundation

*This is a hybrid position

Position Purpose:

The Development Officer plays a critical role in supporting the Foundation’s fundraising operations by managing essential programs and broad-based activities that sustain donor engagement and revenue growth. This position has operational responsibility for annual giving, colleague giving, stewardship, coordination of marketing and communications, planned giving marketing, and select prospect management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in non-profit organizations, marketing, communications and/or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or marketing, preferably in a non profit healthcare or health system setting
  • Effective written and verbal communication Skills
  • Ability to design, implement, and direct broad-based fundraising initiatives
  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills; ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in donor databases, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools
  • Familiarity with planned giving concepts and platforms preferred
  • Requires reliable personal transportation
  • Must have a valid Ohio drivers license.
  • Requires use of a personal vehicle with valid auto insurance.
