Description:
The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.
- Current BCLS required.
- Phlebotomy proficiency preferred
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer experience preferred
- Minimun one (1) year experience in a clinical setting.
- Previous nursing assistant experience.
