Lead Dietary Aide

Schedule: Full Time rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend

Location: Langhorne, PA

Department: Dietary

Reports to: Food Services Supervisor

Position Purpose:

St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full time Lead Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Team! 

What You Will Do:

  • The Lead Dietary Aide is responsible for critical kitchen operations.
  • Occasionally handles closing the kitchen at night and working morning shifts.
  • Responsible for oversight of trayline accuracy
  • Responsible for taking patient meal orders in the call center
  • Completing daily temperature logs
  • Printing and reviewing essential operational reports
  • The position also entails support to the management team and colleague oversight, with supervisory functions, such as cash handling, register reconciliation, audits, scheduling, and HACCP compliance.
  • This position acts in a supervisory capacity, in the absence of the retail management.
  • This position plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with food safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
  • 2 to 4 years of prior Dietary Aide/Food Service experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Management experience preferred
