As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations of our Pharmacy Department. You’ll work alongside experienced pharmacists and technicians in a hands-on environment where learning and patient impact happen every day.
This is the perfect position for a motivated pharmacy student eager to deepen their clinical knowledge while helping deliver outstanding patient care.
Support efficient preparation, labeling, and delivery of medications
Ensure safe and timely distribution of medications to patients and caregivers
Review inventory to maintain proper storage, security, and rotation of pharmaceuticals
Process pharmacy charges accurately, ensuring correct billing for medications and supplies
Serve patients and colleagues by answering phones and managing customer window interactions
Contribute to a culture focused on quality, safety, and exceptional service
You’ll be part of a team where your work directly supports positive outcomes and enhances the patient experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Enrolled in an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy program or a graduate of one awaiting licensure or completion of required internship/externship hours
Licensure:
Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Tech-in-Training license
Tech-in-Training must obtain full licensure within one year
Experience:
Prior pharmacy experience preferred but not required—bring your passion and willingness to learn!
Our system includes:
• 254-bed acute-care hospital at the Mishawaka Medical Center
• 58-bed acute-care hospital at the Plymouth Medical Center
• More than 85 providers in the Saint Joseph Physician Network
