What will you do:

  • Collects and processes blood and other specimens on all patient age groups according to established policies and procedures for clinical laboratory testing to ensure accurate lab results that will assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. I

  • Obtains needed supplies, verifies patient identification, prepares skin site, and performs venipuncture and skin puncture according to established aseptic techniques.

  • Labels specimens and prepare them for laboratory for analysis.


Work Hours/Shift:


• 40 hours, flexible start and end times based on Center’s operation of hours.  Will float to other centers when needed, need dependable transportation

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Laboratory experience, specimen processing preferred; clinical office experience with medical terminology

  • National Certification preferred
