As a PT Assistant at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

• Provide treatment to patients within Genesis Health System in a caring, professional and efficient manner that may include inpatient, out-patient, long term, home healthcare and /or outreach services
• Provide treatment independently according to State practice guidelines
• Be responsible for assisting the therapist in reassessment
• Complete necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Supervise clinical interns in an effective and professional manner with the guidance and assistance of supervising physical therapist
   

Schedule:

• 40 hours a week

• Day shift

General Requirements:

• 2 year college Physical Therapy program or equivalent experience

• Must obtain Illinois license within 6 months of hire.  Failure to pass licensure exam will result in being ineligible for IL license and employment as a P.T.A.

• Basic Life Support within 6 months

Pay scale:

• $23.11 - $28.89

• Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles
