Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola University Medical Center is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago!

Position Summary:

Step into a fast‑paced, high‑impact role where your expertise can truly protect patients’ sight. The Ophthalmic (Retina) Nurse is an essential member of our retina care team, supporting patients with serious, vision‑threatening conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular disorders. These high‑acuity patients depend on timely diagnostics, urgent interventions, and close follow‑up—and you’ll be at the center of it all.

  • Providing clear, compassionate pre‑ and post‑procedure education

  • Coordinating care for high‑risk retina patients who require frequent monitoring

Your work directly prevents vision loss, enhances patient experience, and ensures the department maintains top-tier clinical and regulatory standards.
