REQUIREMENTS

  • RN with current license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.  BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience including 1+ years in behavioral health, residential, or personal care settings.
  • Supervisory leadership is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities across sites and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Position requires excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health and medical care needs in residential populations.
  • Valid Drivers’ License
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen, physical, TB and Hep B screenings
  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances

Work Schedule This is an Exempt (salary) position.

Mostly daylight Monday – Friday; with some non-traditional business hours to meet programming needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:  The RN Supervisor provides on-site clinical leadership and coordination for nursing services within Pittsburgh Mercy’s Residential and Personal Care Programs. These programs serve adults with serious mental illness; substance use disorders and co-occurring medical conditions. The RN Supervisor supports the Senior Manager of Nursing in ensuring that safe, person-centered, and trauma-informed care is consistently delivered in accordance with Pittsburgh Mercy policies, applicable state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. This is a working leadership role combining clinical expertise, staff development, and operational oversight across multiple residential sites.
