POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the identification and analysis of evidence-based protocols used at SJMO. Works with medical staff to provide real-time education for colleagues for the treatment of sepsis with the end goal of improving quality of care. Engages and interacts with medical staff, resident physicians, allied health professionals, and nursing staff to meet the necessary objectives of standards of care. The coordinator may be asked to participate in other quality initiatives and projects that fall outside the scope of sepsis (or Neuroscience), if necessary, based on the needs of the organization.
