Description:

Supervisor, Laboratory Outreach  - Full Time

Position Summary: 

Responsible for the supervisory and operational functions of St. Peter’s Health Partners Outreach program which includes Home Draw services and Patient Service Centers (Draw Stations) 

These responsibilities include:

- marketing, promoting and servicing of laboratory services to physician office clients, Nursing Homes (Private and SPHP Owned), and other long term care facilities.  

organizing, coordinating and evaluating value-oriented laboratory to build and maintain client relationships, promote laboratory services and ensure client satisfaction

- accountable for personnel staffing, training, scheduling/timekeeping, accuracy and timeliness of procedure performance, budgeting, and materials management within the assigned section 

- ensuring staff and sites continuously meet regulatory requirements; staff follow all policies and procedures; sites are well kept and ready for regulatory inspection. 

Duties are to be done in such a manner as to apply and contribute to the St. Peter’s Health Care Services mission and values Demonstrates the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees 

 

Education Requirements 

 

Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree Preferred. (degree in biological sciences, laboratory science or healthcare management preferred) or equivalent experience. 

 

Experience Requirements 

Phlebotomy experience (required)
Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
Leadership or management experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. 

Experience in laboratory setting 

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills 

Knowledge of laboratory procedures, regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry practices. 

Pay Range: $27.15 - $39.40

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
