**About the Role**

We’re looking for an exceptional **Senior Manager of Internal Communications** to lead strategic comms for our **corporate teams**—including Finance, Legal, People and Places—as well as the broader Executive Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how thousands of Uber employees connect to our mission, strategy, and one another.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of Uber’s internal communications efforts—helping senior leaders craft clear, compelling narratives that inform, engage and inspire employees across the company.

**What You’ll Do:**

- **Be a strategic comms partner** to senior corporate function executives—building trusted relationships and advising them on how to communicate effectively with their teams and across Uber.
- **Create and execute integrated communication plans** using a variety of formats—emails, Slack, All Hands, presentations, video, and more—to inform, engage, and inspire employees.
- **Translate complexity into clarity**—turning intricate technical and business concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand messaging.
- **Elevate employee engagement** through creative campaigns and innovative approaches that bring our culture and priorities to life.
- **Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders** to craft messaging that drives alignment, clarity, and momentum across key initiatives.
- **Connect day-to-day work to the bigger picture,** helping employees see how their contributions ladder up to Uber’s mission and strategy.
- **Bring structure and strategy to communications planning,** ensuring initiatives are thoughtfully executed and measured for impact.

**Basic Qualifications**

- 10+ years of experience in communications.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven track record managing complex, global communication programs in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Skilled at translating complex business topics into clear, compelling messages.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; experienced in advising senior leaders and balancing multiple priorities.
- Excellent writing and storytelling abilities—specifically copywriting, speech writing, and presentation planning.
- Experience driving communication activities to support transformation, change management and culture initiatives.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience in PR/communications at a technology company.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$186,000 per year - USD$207,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
