### **About the Role**

As Uber Delivery accelerates its growth across EMEA, we’re establishing a centralized Scaled Operations Hub in Amsterdam to drive consistent, high-quality execution across a diverse and expanding set of markets. We're seeking a strategic and operationally minded leader to head Scaled Operations for the Rest of EMEA, focusing on newly launched and emerging markets.

In this role, you'll act as a key operational partner to local teams ensuring seamless delivery across our Merchant, Earner, Marketplace, and Consumer workstreams. You’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for day-to-day execution, aligned with regional goals, while continuously evolving the operational model to scale sustainably.

### **What You’ll Deliver**

- Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure flawless execution against key KPIs and SLAs across multiple functions and markets. Own outcomes and act as the operational heartbeat for Rest of EMEA.

- Partner with Country GMs: Build strong alignment with local General Managers balancing in-market agility with regional consistency. Hold shared accountability for performance.

- Lead Shadow P&L Ownership: Identify levers to improve cost structure, enhance efficiency, and elevate service levels across our platform operations.

- Establish Scalable Operating Rhythms: Build and maintain performance dashboards, cadences, and review mechanisms to monitor results and flag opportunities.

- Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Vertical Operations, Strategy, Product, and other partners to scale best practices and accelerate market adoption.

- Manage Trade-offs with Precision: Anticipate challenges across markets and make effective decisions that serve both local needs and regional ambitions.

- Grow and Develop Top Talent: Build and lead a team of operational experts. Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and growth.

### **What You’ll Need**

- 10+ years in operations, strategy, general management, or marketplace execution in a high-growth, matrixed environment.

- Demonstrated success leading multi-market operations with measurable impact on KPIs and business results.

- Strong commercial acumen and comfort with P&L-level decision-making, especially around cost and service optimization.

- Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across geographies and functions.

- Deep operational rigor and analytical thinking, able to turn data into strategy, and strategy into execution.

- Exceptional people leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing, diverse teams.

- Experience working in or with hub-based support models serving multiple markets.
