**About the Role**

This is a new, fast-growing team within Uber, operating like a startup, and driven by a passionate, entrepreneurial team. Our goal is to connect businesses with high-quality, cost-effective knowledge work services, such as data labeling, annotation, AI training, translation, agentic simulation and evaluation.

Following initial success, we are now scaling globally and seeking an experienced Product Manager to contribute to the development of the next generation of AI products and tools that will be instrumental in helping us deliver high-quality, efficient, and timely AI training, evaluation and simulation data to our enterprise customers. This role is not just about building tools, but rather leveraging AI and ML to fundamentally rethink how data is created, evaluated, and scaled with consistency and precision. You'll lead the development of intelligent systems that improve data quality end-to-end, and pioneer new approaches to platform design, automation, and agentic workflows.

**What the Candidate Will Do**

- Own the strategy and execution for Uber AI Solutions AI products and tools that deliver high-quality data for our clients.
- Lead with data and customer empathy, blending quantitative insights with a deep understanding of foundational model and agentic AI developer needs to shape product direction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Design to execute against an ambitious roadmap.
- Drive alignment across teams, ensuring strategic clarity and execution velocity on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Define clear, actionable product requirements, prioritizing initiatives based on impact, effort, and long-term value creation.

**Basic Qualifications**

- 7+ years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years in AI/ML start-ups or advanced AI product environments, across consumer and/or B2B products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- **Technical Fluency:** Comfortable working side-by-side with senior ML researchers, infrastructure engineers, and data scientists. Able to translate vague or frontier scientific capabilities into user-facing value quickly and clearly. Engineering background + Coding experience.
- **Experience working directly with customers** – particularly enterprise – to uncover needs, run pilots, and prioritize solutions that can scale (not just one-off engineering efforts).
- **0→1 Product Building**: Hands-on experience taking a product (or significant product feature) from concept through launch to market adoption.
- **Ethical & Responsible AI Awareness**: Familiarity with frameworks for responsible AI development, including compliance, governance, and security considerations.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Strong product sense with a customer-first mindset and proven ability to translate real user needs into scalable, intuitive solutions.
- Bias to learn fast and operate effectively in technical, data-rich, and dynamic environments.
- Relentlessly high bar for product quality, cross-functional collaboration, and personal contribution.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year.
