We are seeking a talented UI DevOps - CICD - SDA Software Engineer to join CrowdStrike's global TechOps Software Delivery Automation team in Bangalore, India. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team to design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide. This position emphasizes CI/CD pipeline reliability, exceptional developer experience, and enterprise-scale automation, blending UI development with DevOps expertise to drive innovation in our cybersecurity operations.
Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using modern DevOps toolchains like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions. Leverage containerization with Docker and Kubernetes to ensure robust, efficient software delivery.
Create self-service tools and frameworks that minimize developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles. Focus on front-end development with React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript to build intuitive interfaces for CI/CD workflows.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for owned services. Utilize tools like Prometheus and Grafana for observability, maintaining the high reliability demanded by our large-scale distributed systems.
Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices, provide technical guidance, and optimize pipelines. Develop modern web applications, comprehensive testing strategies, and build tools to streamline development workflows.
Bring 8-12 years of DevOps experience with a strong emphasis on software development. Proficiency in OOP languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Groovy, or Go is essential. Hands-on experience with core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript), modern frameworks like React and Next.js, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Npm, Vite) is required.
Demonstrate production experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and advanced Git workflows (Bitbucket, GitLab). Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks (QUnit, Mocha, Vitest) and Node.js command-line scripting is key.
Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt), GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), and a security mindset aligned with cybersecurity principles. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning round out the ideal candidate.
