Role Overview

As a Cloud SME, you will be responsible for leading and supporting cloud operations across AWS and Azure platforms, with a strong emphasis on key services such as Amazon Connect, Microsoft Entra, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). You will play a critical role in maintaining the health, security, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Cloud Operations: Manage AWS Organizations and Control Tower setup for multi-account governance. Monitor account health, billing, and usage thresholds. Maintain CloudWatch dashboards and alarms for operational visibility. Review and manage CloudTrail logs for auditing and traceability. Ensure compliance with AWS Config Conformance Packs aligned to E8 and ISM controls.
• Amazon Connect & Related AWS Services: Maintain Amazon Connect configurations and integrations. Support associated services including S3 (storage lifecycle, access controls, retention policies), KMS (key rotation, encryption policies, audit readiness), and replication monitoring.
• Microsoft Entra: Maintain identity and access configurations. Support policy updates and role-based access control. Assist with integration issues across Microsoft services.
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Monitor host pool performance and session health. Apply patches and updates as required. Coordinate with Nerdio Manager for scaling and automation.
