  • Performing regular maintenance and updates to systems, software, and hardware to ensure security and efficiency
  • Ensuring the data center’s HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems are operating efficiently to maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels
  • Carrying out routine network maintenance tasks, such as managing user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam to maintain network security and performance
  • Ensuring the data center’s power supply is consistent and reliable to prevent downtime
  • Ensuring data backups are completed and stored correctly to protect against data loss
  • Assisting with disaster recovery operations in the event of power failures, fires, or other disasters to minimize downtime and data loss
  • Documenting procedures, systems and network configuration for reference and training purposes
  • Complying with and maintaining security standards within the data center to protect against unauthorized access
  • Communicating regularly with other IT staff and management to report on status of the data center and any issues

  • Execute plan of action from Dell Domain Engineer/L3

  • Perform Server Testing and validation (running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs)
  • Upgrading Firmware as needed on Dell equipment
  • Manage Parts locker, manage inbound and outbound parts
  • Spare parts management, separate from parts locker (during CW server deployments)
