A Cloud Solution Architect plays a crucial role in designing, managing, and monitoring cloud-based systems for businesses. Here are some key responsibilities and skills typically associated with this role:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation and evolution of a consolidated strategic architecture roadmap for healthcare software platform on Cloud
• Design and deploy dynamically scalable and highly available services on cloud platforms
• Develop and coordinate cloud architecture and drive cloud strategy at the organizational level
• Write and review design documents explaining overall architecture, framework and high level design of the application
• Create, understand and validate Design and estimate LOEs for given module/task, and be able to justify it
• Extensive experience working on Cloud Migration, Cloud-native architecture, micro-services, Kubernetes, Serverless/function, event driven architecture and implementation of DevSecOps
• Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy and respond to technical issues promptly
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software to recommend improvements

• Develop strategies and control mechanisms for cloud cost optimization

   

• Ability to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment
• Implement required systems, solutions, and processes needed to manage cloud cost, monitoring, scalability, and redundancy are accounted for and continuously validated
• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance best practices
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices
• Coding 
• Define guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering, including the complete software development life cycle
• 7+ years of experience and expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• 5+ years of experience in an architect/highly technical leader role
• 5+ years of experience in delivering solution architecture designs in a complex, dynamic, highly integrated enterprise environment
• 5+ years of experience in designing solutions based on modern cloud-native architectures (micro-service, streaming, containers, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in packaging and containerizing (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with technology stack leveraging React, Angular, NodeJS, Java, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Postgres, Rest & GraphQL APIs
• Highly experienced in consultative skills to assess/surface, analyze, and define underlying requirements which are not immediately clear
• Well Versed with Cloud infrastructure automation, DevSecOps and Site reliability Engineering
• Experience in Agile methodologies, grooming Features and Stories, and collaborating with Strategic Product Managers, Strategic Technical Leaders, Technical Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and Enterprise Architects
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices

• Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing

   

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven excellent communication skills to collaborate with IT and development teams

   

• Good understanding of best practices to enable application security, scalability, HA/DR, Application Monitoring across the technology stack

   

Preferred Qualification: 

• 10+ years of experience in writing full tech-stack, platform-level code in React/Java/JBOSS/Spring Boot or .NET
