This position has responsibility for development, improvements, and maintenance on controllership automation tools. It requires person to work on business requirement and follow Optum Coding standards and work on new projects in Snowflake, Advance SQL, Tableau, PowerShell scripting and Azure cloud administration and Azure DevOps.  Developer responsibilities include writing and testing programs for business processes in snowflake and SQL. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.

Required Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience on Snowflake, Advance SQL, Tableau, PowerShell scripting and exposure to Azure cloud administration technologies
• Experience with relational Database: Snowflake, Advance SQL, Tableau, PowerShell scripting and Azure DevOps
• Experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data
• Developing / Fully Proficient
• Ability to design and develop predictive and prescriptive models
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets using statistical techniques
• Ability to communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to develop and implement data collection systems and strategies
• Knowledge in data warehousing
• Knowledge on GitHub Integration with Azure DevOps
• Ability to work with minimal guidance or on routine issues/activities
• Ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, data modelling, dependency and workload management
  and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
• Demonstrates an "automation first" mentality that improves quality and efficiency
• Solid analytics skills related to working with unstructured datasets
• Ability to develop understanding of cost, complexity, and capability tradeoffs in underlying architectures
• Ability to develop awareness of upstream and downstream system interactions and dependencies
• Ability to reuse and or develop for reuse code algorithms, or data structures to address common needs
• Ability to actively follows industry trends in technology, tools, and components, sharing findings with team members
• Ability to participate in Agile and CI-CD practices, takes ownership of some processes or practices for team
• Has awareness of the operational characteristics (e.g., security, performance, scalability, manageability) of solutions and is accountable for supporting those requirements in contributed code
