Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage macOS security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats
• Configure and maintain the pf firewall to ensure robust network security and compliance with organizational policies
• Utilize JAMF Pro for macOS device management, focusing on security configurations and compliance monitoring
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to provide advanced threat protection and endpoint security
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for macOS environments
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plans
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all systems
• Experience with network access technologies implemented on macOS: VPN, Cloud Access Security Brokers, Conditional Access, MFA

• Stay updated on the latest macOS security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in macOS architecture and administration with a focus on Security
• Experience in macOS security principles and best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or similar endpoint protection solutions
• Solid knowledge of pf firewall configuration and management
• Proficiency with JAMF Pro for device management and security compliance
• Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven solid communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks
• Experience with mac Endpoints integrated in MS Azure environment
• Familiarity with other security tools and frameworks
