The University Recruiting Launch Intern position in Reading, United Kingdom, supports the EMEA University Recruiting team. This team drives intern hiring across the UK, Romania, Spain, Denmark, and Germany, aligning with global University Recruiting goals. As an intern, you'll dive into the busy recruiting season, assisting with interview scheduling, event administration, newsletters, and more. Conduct research on university campus strategies across EMEA, including contacting career centres and posting roles on university job platforms to expand our talent pipeline.
Handle a variety of tasks using our applicant tracking system (Workday) and work management platform (Asana), plus ad-hoc support to the broader Talent Acquisition (TA) team.
Provide planning and logistical support for key recruiting events such as career fairs, info sessions, virtual interviews, tech talks, and other programs.
Prioritize outstanding candidate experiences through exceptional written and verbal communication at every touchpoint.
Assist the US teams’ Associate Programme Manager with invoicing and communicate with stakeholders to support recruiters in daily operations.
To thrive in this role, you should be currently enrolled at university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2028. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Desirable experience includes recruitment, customer service, or stakeholder management roles. Proficiency in a Mac environment, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides is a plus. Above all, bring passion for innovation, a relentless focus on candidate experience, and strong communication skills to collaborate across departments. Bonus points for knowledge of and interest in HR.
