We are looking for a Validator

You’ll make a difference by:

• As an ERTMS / ETCS System / Kavach/TCAS Validator for our products and solutions, you play a critical role in ensuring that our vehicles meet stringent safety standards and that passengers arrive safely at their destinations. You will be deeply involved in developing standardized products and integrating them into international projects. Your responsibilities will span the entire validation process, from creating validation plans to analysing complex requirement specifications and integrating results into higher-level systems. With 5+ years of experience, the candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Mandatory Skills
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in ERTMS/ETCS/Kavach/TCAS/Similar system or subsystem testing, verification, or validation.
• Strong competency in validation, including experience with safety attributes in the railway signaling domain.
• Proficiency in validation approaches and methodologies (e.g., EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 requirements, Safety Integrity Levels - SIL).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of software and its intended application environment.
• Preferred Skills
• Understanding software testing, verification, or validation processes in a software development lifecycle.
• Experience in auditing, inspections, or reviews during different software development phases.
• Familiarity with international safety standards and European conformity requirements (CENELEC standards).
• Strong observational skills and ability to synthesize evidence from various sources.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant software tools or technology used in validation processes.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of system software and its intended application environment.
• Create and agree on detailed validation plans, specifying tasks and activities.
• Validate software against requirements, ensuring correctness and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct reviews and analyses to ensure the adequacy of verification and testing processes.
• Evaluate software processes for conformity with European standards, including Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).
• Provide recommendations on software suitability, noting any application constraints.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews during development phases.
• Develop comprehensive validation reports and review hazard logs, ensuring non-conformity resolution.
• Collaborate with Global teams to integrate standardized products into global projects.
• Experience Range
• 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in ERTMS/ETCS/Kavach/TCAS system,
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
