Account Executive, Early Stage - Vanta

We're scaling our Early Stage Sales team with customer-focused Account Executives who will take ownership of their entire sales cycle and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in a burgeoning competitive landscape. Role Overview

As an Account Executive at Vanta, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving new business and expanding our market share. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying high-potential business verticals to closing deals and building strong customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on early-stage companies, helping them understand the value of Vanta and how it can help them achieve and maintain compliance. You will also be an important voice in our product development process by providing feedback gained through your conversations with prospective clients.

A Day in the Life

Here’s a glimpse into what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Morning: Start your day by reviewing your sales pipeline and prioritizing outreach to high-potential prospects. You'll also review your calendar and strategize for upcoming calls and demos.
  • Mid-day: Conduct product demos for potential customers, highlighting the key features and benefits of Vanta. Answer questions and address any concerns they may have. You will also have internal meetings with your team and sales leadership to discuss strategy and pipeline.
  • Afternoon: Work on contract negotiations with prospects, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement. Spend time on follow-up activities, such as sending personalized emails and making follow-up calls. Research industry trends and identify new business opportunities to expand your pipeline.
  • End of Day: Update the CRM (Salesforce) with the days activity, and send out summaries of calls and action items to clients and internal team members. Review your goals and plan for the next day.
