Business Development Representative (German Fluency) - London, UK

Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) with German fluency, you will play a crucial role in expanding Vanta's presence in the German-speaking market and beyond. You will be at the forefront of our outbound sales efforts, identifying and engaging with strategic accounts to generate qualified leads for our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Vanta's international operations and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Our BDRs will take ownership of our outbound sales engine and help to build pipeline as we move into several more areas of the security industry, build out our International operations, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in a burgeoning competitive landscape. Our first International hires will also be able to lay claim to ‘founding team’ status in the years ahead. As Vanta’s growth trajectory continues.

Vanta is growing quickly and we're continually outpacing our growth targets while maintaining very strong NPS scores. Needless to say, it's an exciting time! We're scaling our Business Development team with a customer-centric and commercially minded BDR who will take ownership of our outbound sales engine and help to build pipeline as we evolve our business, and push to disrupt and improve the security space.

Here's what a typical day might look like for you as a Business Development Representative at Vanta:

  • Morning: Start your day by reviewing your target accounts and prioritizing your outreach efforts. Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify key decision-makers and gather relevant information about their businesses.
  • Mid-day: Craft personalized email and LinkedIn messages to engage with prospects and introduce them to Vanta's value proposition. Make outbound calls to follow up on your messages and answer any questions prospects may have.
  • Afternoon: Collaborate with your account executive to discuss your progress and strategize on how to best approach target accounts. Refine your messaging and outreach strategies based on feedback and insights.
  • Late Afternoon: Record your activities and progress in Salesforce to track your performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and Vanta's product updates.
