Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Monetization platform team to reimagine Vanta’s customer lifecycle infrastructure by unifying entitlement management, usage tracking, and billing into a cohesive platform. These systems form the critical foundation for how customers purchase, access, and manage Vanta's products. This role offers the unique opportunity to build systems that directly impact Vanta's growth trajectory while solving technically interesting distributed systems problems at the intersection of product, finance, and sales.

This is a remote position based in Canada (Alberta, Ontario, or British Columbia).

A Day in the Life

As an Engineering Manager in Monetization at Vanta, your day will be dynamic and involve a mix of leadership, technical guidance, and strategic planning. You'll start by checking in with your team, reviewing progress on ongoing projects, and addressing any roadblocks they might be facing. This could involve pair programming, code reviews, or brainstorming solutions to technical challenges.

A significant portion of your day will be dedicated to planning and strategizing. You'll collaborate with product managers, finance, and go-to-market operations to define the technical roadmap for the monetization platform.
