As a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta, you will be a key player in setting the technical direction for our product and infrastructure. About the Cloud, Code, and Security (CCS) Team

The Cloud, Code, and Security (CCS) team is a new team within the Automation Organization at Vanta. CCS owns customer-facing outcomes related to how companies use their cloud-related data. We build and operate product surfaces, backend systems, and integrations to enable users to accomplish a wide range of compliance objectives. As a Software Engineer on CCS, you will play a pivotal role in chartering this team, working closely with product and design to bring novel product experiences alive.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver impactful projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers.
• Set direction for critical technical areas to stay ahead of rapid growth.
• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks (TypeScript, React, Node.js).
• Collaborate with talented engineers to improve customer security and prove it.
• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.

A typical day for a Senior Software Engineer on the CCS team might involve:
