As a Lead Technical Recruiter, Engineering at Vanta, you will be a key player in scaling our engineering teams worldwide. Your mission is to help Vanta achieve its goal of enabling businesses to earn and prove trust by attracting and hiring top-tier technical talent. You will partner closely with senior engineering and executive leaders to shape hiring strategies, set assessment standards, and represent Vanta’s talent brand in the market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in full-cycle technical recruiting, strong stakeholder management skills, and a passion for creating an exceptional candidate experience.
Your day-to-day activities will be diverse and impactful. You might start by meeting with engineering leaders to discuss hiring priorities and refine job descriptions. Next, you could be sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, attending virtual tech conferences, or engaging with candidates in Vanta’s talent community. A significant portion of your day will be spent conducting interviews, assessing candidate qualifications, and providing feedback to hiring managers. You'll also be analyzing recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement, as well as working on employer branding initiatives. Offer negotiation and closing will also be a regular part of the role. Finally, you will explore using AI tools to optimize sourcing and screening efforts.

Vanta offers a competitive salary and benefits package to attract and retain top talent. While the specific salary for this role is dependent on experience and location, the anticipated range is $140,000 - $220,000 annually. In addition to base salary, Vanta provides equity, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans), 16 weeks of fully-paid parental leave, a health & wellness stipend, remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipends, commuter benefits for team members in SF and NYC, family planning benefits, and a matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting. We also offer flexible time off.
