Role Overview

As a Manager, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to build scalable sales processes, improve technical qualification and discovery, and deliver a world-class experience for prospective and existing customers alike. This role is crucial for driving the technical win in complex sales cycles and ensuring customer satisfaction with Vanta’s Trust Management Platform.

Day in the Life

As a Manager, Solutions Engineering, your day-to-day activities will be varied and impactful. A typical day might include:

  • Coaching and mentoring Solutions Engineers on the team, providing guidance on sales strategies and technical approaches.
  • Participating in strategic sales calls with Enterprise and Strategic customers, helping to articulate Vanta’s value proposition.
  • Collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to refine product positioning based on customer feedback.
  • Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in the sales process.
  • Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Solutions Architecture teams to scale the impact of Solutions Engineering across the business.
  • Developing and implementing scalable pre-sales processes to support complex sales cycles.
