Ramp Manager at Vanta: Accelerate Sales Success in APJ

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ramp Manager to join our growing team in Sydney, Australia, to lead the charge in accelerating the success of our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) within the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

Role Overview

As a Regional SDR Ramp Manager, you will be the driving force behind the early-stage development and performance of new SDRs in APJ. Your primary focus will be to ensure that new hires ramp to productivity within 90 days through consistent reinforcement, live coaching, and performance accountability. You will collaborate closely with the Global Ramp Acceleration Manager and GTM Enablement teams to create and execute a tailored ramp program that reflects the unique nuances of the APJ market.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a passionate coach with a data-driven mindset and strategic leadership skills. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performance environment, driving quota attainment, and ensuring regional alignment across Vanta’s rapidly scaling global SDR organization.

A Day in the Life of a Ramp Manager

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

  • Morning: Start your day by reviewing the performance metrics of new SDRs in the ramp program. Identify any performance gaps and plan coaching sessions to address these areas. Collaborate with the Business Development Leadership in APJ to align on priorities and strategies for the day.
  • Mid-day: Conduct live call coaching sessions with new SDRs, providing actionable feedback and guidance on prospecting techniques. Analyze call recordings to identify areas for improvement and share best practices.
