A Day in the Life

As the Senior Director of Corporate Engineering, your day will be dynamic and varied. You'll start by reviewing the performance of our IT operations, ensuring that our service desk is meeting SLAs and that employees are getting the support they need. You'll then meet with the Systems Engineering team to discuss the progress of ongoing automation initiatives and workflow optimizations.

A significant portion of your day will be spent collaborating with other departments. You'll meet with the Security team to ensure that our IT infrastructure is compliant with security frameworks. You'll work with the Finance team to plan the IT budget and make strategic technology investments. You'll also partner with the People team to improve the employee experience through technology.

In the afternoon, you might be involved in vendor selection, onboarding new SaaS tools, or decommissioning outdated systems. You'll also spend time mentoring and coaching your team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and service excellence.
