The GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) organization is the primary org responsible for developing and maintaining Vanta's core product offerings. These teams are at the heart of Vanta moving upmarket to support enterprise customers and build products that enable our customers’ existing security and compliance programs to integrate seamlessly with Vanta, giving them invaluable insights and recommendations to continue to operate, mature and evolve their programs.

Role Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in the GRC organization at Vanta, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our core product offerings. You'll be responsible for leading complex projects, setting technical direction, and mentoring other engineers. You will work on a modern tech stack (TypeScript, React, Node.js) to build new features and infrastructure that help our customers improve their security posture and demonstrate compliance.

Day in the Life

• Start your day by reviewing project updates and collaborating with your team on current tasks.
• Participate in design discussions, offering your expertise to shape the technical direction of new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with your colleagues.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills.
• Work with product managers and designers to refine requirements and ensure that features meet customer needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our platform.
