Job Description

Product Analytics Lead, Fraud and Decisioning at Veriff - Remote in Tallinn & Spain

Join Veriff as a Product Analytics Lead, Fraud and Decisioning and lead the charge against rising online fraud threats. In this senior leadership role, you'll guide a team of elite analysts to protect millions of identity verifications worldwide. With fraud rates hitting 4% globally and AI deepfakes surging 300%, Veriff needs your expertise to stay ahead. Remote from Tallinn, Estonia or Spain – apply now for a career-defining opportunity in fraud analytics.

Role Overview

Veriff is the global leader in identity verification, powering secure onboarding for fintechs, crypto platforms, and enterprises. Our Operations and Analytics team is the backbone of our mission to solve the online identity crisis. As Product Analytics Lead, Fraud and Decisioning, you'll sit at the intersection of product, data science, and operations, driving analytics that detect fraud early, optimize decision engines, and fuel growth.

This isn't theoretical – fraud is real and escalating. Impersonation attacks make up 85% of attempts, and AI manipulation is exploding. You'll lead 5-6 analysts to build robust measurement frameworks, monitor emerging threats, and partner with engineering to tune models for maximum impact. If you thrive in fast-paced, adversarial environments and love building high-performing teams, this role at Veriff will let you ship real-world results.

Remote flexibility across Tallinn, Estonia and Spain means you can work from Europe's innovation hubs while tackling global challenges. Expect to own the fraud analytics strategy end-to-end, from metrics definition to experiment design and stakeholder influence.

Key Responsibilities

Your impact as Product Analytics Lead will span team leadership, strategy, and execution:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and develop 5-6 analysts excelling in SQL, Python, and product thinking. Foster a culture of rigor, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Fraud Metrics Mastery: Standardize KPIs like loss rates, precision/recall, false positive costs, and time-to-detection. Operationalize them for daily decision-making.
  • Monitoring & Detection: Build dashboards tracking fraud shifts, model drift, and abuse vectors – catching issues before they scale.
  • Experimentation Expertise: Design A/B alternatives like shadow tests and incremental rollouts where traditional testing fails.
  • Cross-Team Partnership: Work with Product Engineering and Data Science on threshold tuning, feature analysis, and tradeoff optimization balancing security and UX.
  • Product Influence: Use analytics to guide decisions that protect customers, boost conversions, and cut costs.
  • Scale & Innovation: Evolve analytics infrastructure for 2025's AI-driven threats, ensuring Veriff leads the market.

Daily life involves deep dives into petabyte-scale data, leading standups, presenting to execs, and iterating on detection systems that process millions of verifications.

Qualifications

We're seeking a battle-tested leader with:

  • 5+ years in product analytics, fraud, or risk-focused roles.
  • Team leadership experience scaling analytics groups.
  • SQL/Python fluency for production-grade analysis.
  • Proven fraud metrics and experimentation chops.
  • Cross-functional collaboration in high-stakes environments.
  • Passion for adversarial problem-solving and clean measurement.

Bonus: Experience with identity verification, deepfakes, or fintech fraud.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $120,000 - $170,000 USD base (depending on experience), plus bonuses and equity. Full benefits package includes health coverage, unlimited PTO, remote work stipend, stock options, professional growth budget, and more. Veriff invests in your success with top-tier tools and global impact.
