What we are looking for

Devops Consultant who can collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases.

Responsibilities

• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes to enable our developers to run their software in a self-reliant fashion.
• Improve and maintain the infrastructure behind our continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Discover, analyze and troubleshoot anomalous application behaviors. Deploy monitoring and infrastructure tools exposing metrics and alerts.
• Work closely with business areas to understand how the products are built, designed and operated and the importance of them for the company.
• Create, design, deploy and maintain the infrastructure architecture required to support the applications.

This is a hybrid position, office day expectations will be shared by manager

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Requirements

• Medium knowledge in coding.
• Strong knowledge in CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Docker.
• Strong knowledge in CI/CD infrastructure (Bitbucket, Github, Github actions, Concourse & Argo CD).
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge in GNU/Linux, TCP, GRPC.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol.
• Strong knowledge of restful architecture.
