Job Description

Consumers, merchants, acquirers, and issuers are increasingly seeking new ways to improve the post-purchase experience.  Pre-disputes, disputes, and related products can expedite and inform the experience after a transaction takes place. 

The successful candidate will have broad experience in working in a fast-paced environment, influencing others across the organization, and has the ability to simplify complex business and technical concepts for all audiences. Additionally, the candidate is a team player and strong collaborator. The candidate is comfortable working on dynamic projects with many moving pieces in addition to having significant time management and organizational skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams, such as Issuing Sales, Finance, Strategy and Marketing, to bring this product suite to life in NA
  • Support direct team and cross-functional team in reviewing and providing guidance on all projects and reports
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to create effective and efficient packaging for our solutions and suites of offers
  • Develop strategy documents to help evaluate the best possible solutions for Visa and advance momentum for areas of focus such as issuer, reseller, and merchant sales
  • Present to internal senior leaders and external clients on momentum and strategy, in-person, virtually, and in other unique formats as needed
  • Participate on global calls with the regions and be the regional liaison as needed
  • Collaborate with the data science team on improving and automating reporting elements as needed

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Strong team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently at coordinating cross-functional activities, data collection, buy-in
  • Strong decision-making abilities to elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects and engagements to completion
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way and take prompt, decisive action after analyzing relevant information. Also be able to relay those messages to internal and external clients (sales and Visa clients)
  • Advanced knowledge of the post-purchase products landscape – product features, competitive set, sales techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Results-oriented mindset and willingness to creatively solve problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
