Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift) on our Dock team, you'll play a crucial role in inbound and outbound operations. This Tuesday-Saturday shift runs from 3:00 PM until task completion, with overtime required as needed. Starting pay is $22.10 per hour, including shift differential—no bonus eligibility, but comprehensive benefits await.

This entry-level role is perfect for motivated individuals comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Little to no warehouse experience is required; all training starts on day one. You'll assist with receiving products, picking orders, packing shipments, and ensuring products flow efficiently from vendors to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will keep our operations running smoothly:

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accurate picking, quality control, sorting, consolidating freight, pallet building, wrapping, packing, loading, and shipment preparation.
• Pick large case items using material handling equipment or small units placed on designated carts.
• Cross-train across multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for checking in and sending out products.
• Drive equipment such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
• Complete housekeeping, inventory control, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Handle routine problem-solving, attend associate meetings, and communicate concerns to management.
• Adhere to OSHA standards, site safety regulations, and Cardinal Health's EHS and QRA policies, including wearing steel-toed shoes and safety harnesses.

Qualifications & Requirements

We're open to candidates new to warehousing. Key requirements include:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, and stand for entire shifts.
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Prior PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience preferred; RF scanner or voice-to-pick experience highly valued.
• Must work overtime with little notice and adapt to changing priorities independently or in teams.
• Aptitude for fast-paced settings, meeting hourly performance standards.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn equipment operation and rotate roles.
