Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate at Cardinal Health's Ohio Valley Distribution Center in Columbus, OH, you'll join a dynamic team working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM (or until work is completed), with overtime expected. Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Associates at Cardinal Health handle a variety of critical tasks to keep our medical supply chain running smoothly. Your daily duties include:

• Following established processes to fulfill orders: accurately picking products, conducting quality control checks, packing items, entering data into computer systems, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training across multiple warehouse functions, such as order picking, outbound dock operations, renal fluid packing, IV fluid packing, and working with automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Performing housekeeping, inventory control, and safety tasks while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed safety shoes and material handling harnesses.
• Training and certifying to operate material handling equipment (MHE) like order pickers (cherry pickers), pacers/counterbalances, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders as needed.

Expect routine assignments under moderate supervision, with opportunities to resolve basic problems and learn new methods quickly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, and stand for entire 8+ hour shifts.
• Comfort working at heights of 25-30 feet regularly and willingness to work overtime.

• Strong verbal and written communication, flexibility, multi-tasking, and ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Preferred: High School Diploma/GED, RF scanner/voice pick experience, MHE operation, or familiarity with computers/point-of-sale systems.
