Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate position at Cardinal Health's Columbus, OH facility offers a rewarding entry into the healthcare supply chain. This full-time role features a unique Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM (or until work is completed), with overtime expected. Pay starts at $21.60 per hour, including shift differential—no prior warehouse experience required, as comprehensive training begins on day one. You'll contribute to critical tasks like receiving, storing, and shipping sensitive medical products, ensuring hospitals and doctors have what they need to care for patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, your daily impact includes:

• Following established processes to accurately pick products, perform quality control checks, pack items, input data into systems, and prepare shipments.
• Cross-training across warehouse functions such as order picking, outbound dock operations, renal fluid packing, IV fluid packing, and automated storage/retrieval systems.
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace through housekeeping, inventory control, and proper use of PPE like steel-toed shoes and material handling harnesses.
• Training and certifying on material handling equipment (MHE) including order pickers (cherry pickers), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
• Adhering to standard operating procedures under moderate supervision, resolving routine issues, and escalating complex problems.

Qualifications & Requirements

We welcome candidates with little to no experience—our paid training ensures success. Key qualifications include:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, reach for entire 8+ hour shifts.
• Comfort working at heights of 25-30 feet and in a fast-paced team environment with limited supervision.
• Must be flexible for overtime and able to multitask, follow directions, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal/written communication and paperwork processing skills.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred; RF scanner, MHE, or tech experience a plus.
