Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate position at our Swedesboro, NJ facility (NJ-Swedesboro-MPS) is a full-time opportunity on the afternoon shift: Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 PM until work is completed. Pay starts at $21.80 per hour, including shift differential, with comprehensive benefits from day one. This entry-level role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking stable employment in the healthcare sector. No prior warehouse experience is necessary—all training is provided on your first day. You'll work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, handling sensitive medical products like renal and IV fluids. Expect physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 8+ hours, and working at heights of 25-30 feet with proper safety gear. Overtime is available, and you'll have opportunities to cross-train on advanced equipment like order pickers and reach trucks.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll ensure seamless order fulfillment to support healthcare providers. Core duties include following established processes to pick products accurately using RF scanners or voice-to-pick systems, conducting quality control checks, packing items securely, and entering data into warehouse management systems. You'll prepare shipments for outbound docks and participate in cross-training across areas such as renal fluid packing, IV fluid packing, and automated storage/retrieval systems. Housekeeping and inventory control are essential to maintain a clean, safe workspace, requiring personal protective equipment like steel-toed shoes and harnesses. As you gain certifications, you'll operate material handling equipment including cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and walkie riders. Expect routine assignments with some problem-solving, all under moderate supervision and within standard operating procedures.

Daily Workflow Highlights

Your day starts with safety briefings, followed by order fulfillment waves. You'll adapt to priorities, collaborate with team members, and refer complex issues to leads. Emphasis is on accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficiency in processing paperwork and shipments.

Qualifications & Requirements

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including those back-to-work, people with disabilities, without college degrees, and Veterans. Key requirements include the physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift 50 pounds, and stand for extended shifts. Comfort working at heights and flexibility for overtime are musts. Soft skills like self-motivation, teamwork, communication, multi-tasking, and adaptability are crucial. Preferred experience includes RF scanners, MHE, or tech familiarity (computers, POS systems). A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Successful associates apply knowledge to standard tasks, learn quickly, adhere to quality guidelines, and maintain certifications.
