Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate (Full-Time, Day Shift) position at our WA-Auburn Distribution Center offers a stable, rewarding opportunity in healthcare logistics. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, earning $20.15 per hour. This role supports inbound receiving and outbound shipping operations, ensuring efficient product flow from vendors to customers. No weekend or night shifts required, with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you'll contribute directly to Cardinal Health's mission by managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of critical healthcare products. Daily tasks include unloading trucks with pallet jacks, using the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in inventory, storing items via order picker at heights up to 30 feet, picking orders accurately, and loading outbound trucks. Specialty handling for refrigerated products follows strict regulations to maintain product integrity. You'll work under moderate supervision, adhering to standard operating procedures while resolving routine issues to meet service parameters.

Inbound Operations

Focus on receiving: Safely unload pallets from vendor trucks, scan and verify products, and store in designated locations, including climate-controlled areas.

Outbound Operations

Handle picking and shipping: Select items from racks, pack securely, and prepare for timely dispatch to hospitals and pharmacies.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek motivated candidates with 1-2 years of warehouse experience, though equivalent work history is valued. A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, and standing for the entire shift. Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet with order pickers and in refrigerated areas is essential. Successful associates apply knowledge to standard tasks, learn quickly, maintain certifications, and follow quality guidelines under supervisor review.
