Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate II - 2nd Shift position at Cardinal Health's Montgomery, NY location is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a dynamic role in medical supply distribution. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 12am (or until work is completed), offering a pay rate of $21.40 per hour. Key Responsibilities

In this position, you'll cross-train across Inbound, ValueLink, and Outbound functions to ensure operational flexibility. Daily tasks include receiving large boxes on the dock, scanning products with RF devices, and entering data into our warehouse management system. You'll break down cases, operate heavy equipment to replenish inventory, and use voice-directed picking for both large cases and small units. Palletizing items, wrapping skids for shipment, and packing small orders are core duties. Expect to drive various MHE such as order pickers, forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders. Meeting hourly quotas while adhering to safety standards is essential in this high-volume medical distribution center.

Operational Excellence

Contribute to the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to customer shipment, supporting Cardinal Health's prescribed service parameters for internal and external customers in the healthcare sector.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), 1-2 years of related warehouse experience, and prior MHE operation. Proficiency with RF scanners and voice-to-pick systems is highly valued. Physical demands include consistently lifting 50 lbs, bending, reaching, stooping, and standing for 8+ hour shifts, plus working at heights up to 25 feet. Overtime with little notice is required, along with a willingness to learn new equipment and rotate areas. Safety compliance is non-negotiable: wear steel-toed shoes, safety harnesses, and follow EHS, QRA policies. Thrive in a fast-paced setting meeting distribution quotas under moderate supervision.
