Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate II position at Cardinal Health's Montgomery, NY facility offers a dynamic opportunity in warehouse operations. This full-time night shift role (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 5:30pm - 4:30am or until work is completed) pays $22.90 per hour, including shift differential. Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate II, you'll handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment:

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order processing, including accurate picking, quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, pallet building, wrapping, packing, loading, and shipment preparation.
• Pick large case items using material handling equipment or small unit items for designated carts.
• Drive equipment such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders as required.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for checking in and sending out products.
• Cross-train across multiple warehouse areas, participate in projects, and resolve routine problems.
• Maintain housekeeping, inventory control, and a clean, safe work environment while adhering to EHS and QRA policies.
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety shoes and safety harnesses when working at heights.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek reliable team players ready to thrive in a demanding warehouse setting:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with material handling equipment (PIT), RF scanners, or voice-to-pick highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice and rotate into various warehouse areas.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and methods under moderate supervision.
