Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate - Inbound (2nd Shift) at our Columbus-area Consumer Hub Logistics Center, you'll play a vital role in our pharmaceutical supply chain operations. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm (or until tasks are completed), ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of products from vendors. You'll assist in inbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, meeting rigorous quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. No prior warehouse experience is required—we provide comprehensive training from day one. • Following established processes to receive inbound products accurately, including unloading, inspecting, and storing items per standard operating procedures.
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure product integrity and compliance with Cardinal Health's high standards.
  • Participating in inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock organization, to maintain precise records.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment through regular housekeeping and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Cross-training across multiple warehouse functions, including outbound shipping if needed, and supporting team projects for operational improvements.
  • Training and certifying on essential material handling equipment, such as order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.

Expect routine assignments with some problem-solving under moderate supervision, with complex issues escalated to leads or supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

We prioritize potential over experience, making this role accessible to motivated individuals ready to learn. Key qualifications include:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work comfortably at heights of 20-30 feet.
  • Capacity to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift in a fast-paced setting.

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred; basic tech familiarity (computers, POS systems) is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety, quality guidelines, and continuous learning of new methods and certifications.

All training is on-site starting day one, ensuring you're equipped for success in our automated environment.
