The Warehouse Associate - Second Shift position at Cardinal Health's Atlanta Kendall Park facility offers a dynamic entry into healthcare logistics. Working Monday-Friday from 3:30pm until completion (with potential weekend hours based on business needs), you'll earn $20.50 per hour, including shift differential. This full-time role involves hands-on warehouse operations, from receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and shipping vital healthcare goods. In this role, you'll drive the efficient flow of products through our state-of-the-art facility. Core duties include operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, sit-down forklifts, and reach trucks. You'll hand-unload incoming product, process small package shipments, and run the automated pallet wrapping machine. Additional tasks encompass aisle audits to maintain inventory accuracy, manual shrink-wrapping of pallets, assembling corrugate Gaylords, and banding shipments. Housekeeping is paramount— you'll uphold the highest standards while following precise documentation practices. Success means meeting or exceeding benchmarks in quality, safety, attendance, and productivity, with flexibility for other assigned duties.
Your shift focuses on high-volume, accurate execution. Expect routine problem-solving within standard operating procedures, under moderate supervision with regular output reviews. Complex issues escalate to leads or supervisors, ensuring smooth operations 24/7.
We seek reliable team players ready to apply knowledge and learn quickly. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus 1-2 years of warehouse experience. Material handling equipment proficiency and basic Microsoft Office skills are assets. No college degree required—candidates back-to-work, with disabilities, without degrees, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
