Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate, Second Shift position at Cardinal Health in Cincinnati, OH, operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with overtime expected as needed. Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, your daily duties will directly impact patient care across the region. Key responsibilities include:

• Following established processes to fulfill orders: accurately picking products using RF scanners or voice-to-pick systems, performing quality control checks, packing items securely, entering data into warehouse management systems, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training across multiple warehouse functions, such as order picking, outbound dock operations, renal fluid packing, IV fluid packing, and operating automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment through housekeeping, inventory control, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed safety shoes and material handling harnesses.
• Training and certifying to operate material handling equipment (MHE) like order pickers (cherry pickers), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders as required by job duties.
• Applying skills to standard tasks, learning new methods quickly, and resolving routine problems while working under moderate supervision.

These tasks ensure our customers—hospitals and healthcare providers—receive reliable supplies without delay.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, reach, stoop for entire 8+ hour shifts.
• Comfort working at heights of 25-30 feet regularly and willingness to work overtime.
• Self-motivation, teamwork skills, flexibility, and multi-tasking in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong verbal/written communication and ability to process paperwork accurately.
• Preferred: RF scanner/voice pick experience, MHE operation, tech familiarity (computers/POS), High School Diploma/GED.
