Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate, Weekend Shift position at Cardinal Health's Waukegan facility offers a dynamic entry into healthcare logistics. This full-time role operates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 AM to 8:30 PM (or until work is completed), with mandatory overtime as needed. Starting pay is $22.61 per hour, inclusive of shift differential, in a fast-paced environment where you'll handle receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of critical medical products. Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on position, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring products flow efficiently from vendor receipt to customer shipment. Core duties include:

• Receiving large boxes on the warehouse dock, scanning products with RF scanners, and entering data into warehouse management systems.
• Breaking down cases, operating heavy equipment to replenish stock, and utilizing voice-to-pick systems for accurate order fulfillment.
• Picking large case items with material handling equipment or small units by hand, then palletizing, wrapping, and staging for outbound shipment.
• Packing small items into boxes and driving equipment like order pickers (cherry pickers), forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
• Cross-training across Inbound, ValueLink, and Outbound areas to support operational flexibility and meet hourly quotas.

Expect to work under moderate supervision, adhering to standard operating procedures while resolving routine issues to maintain peak performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related experience, especially in material handling.
