Role Overview

As a Warehouse Information Systems Operator at PepsiCo's new Lay’s production site in Almaty, Kazakhstan, you will play a pivotal role in launching and optimizing warehouse operations. During the initial launch phase from September to December, you’ll undergo specialized training on SAP warehouse accounting processes. Post-training, you’ll become the go-to expert, ensuring seamless data flow, system accuracy, and team support. This full-time position offers a dynamic environment blending IT, logistics, and hands-on warehouse expertise in the fast-paced food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities

Launch Phase Training (September-December)

Immerse yourself in studying core warehouse accounting processes within SAP and mastering system functionalities to build foundational expertise.

Core Operational Duties

• Maintain timely and accurate warehouse document workflows in SAP, providing essential data to company departments and clients.
• Conduct stock reconciliations for finished goods, raw materials, and inventory across SAP, WMS, and physical counts.
• Accurately reflect company processes in SAP and WMS systems.
• Deliver administrative and system support to warehouse specialists.
• Oversee incoming and internal warehouse documentation, manage databases, and generate reports.
• Process relocation orders and actively participate in warehouse inventories.

Team Support and Knowledge Transfer

Assist warehouse employees in resolving SAP-related issues, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and escalate technical incidents to the IT department, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should hold a higher or secondary specialized education and possess at least one year of warehouse experience. Proficiency as a confident PC user, particularly in Excel and Outlook, is essential. We seek individuals with developed communication skills to explain complex concepts simply, along with attentiveness, rapid learning ability, and a readiness to train others. Experience as a key user in ERP systems like 1C, SAP, or WMS is a significant advantage.
