Role Overview

The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator - 1st Shift position at Cardinal Health's Portland, OR facility is ideal for detail-oriented professionals thriving in dynamic warehouse environments. This full-time role operates Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime based on business needs. Earn $20.50-$24.50 per hour based on experience, in a role contributing to Cardinal Health's Inventory Management team. Work under moderate supervision in a fast-paced distribution center handling healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator, you'll ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency:

  • Participate in Prime/Reserve cycle counts to maintain precise stock levels.
  • Maintain chase area, including regular cycle counts and organization.
  • Conduct thorough investigations for missing stock and transfers.
  • Remove and log recalled items per compliance protocols.
  • Identify damaged products and process accordingly.
  • Remove and log short-dated items to uphold quality standards.
  • Perform putaway of products efficiently.
  • Execute tasking assignments promptly.
  • Run and complete essential reports for inventory tracking.
  • Organize emails and prioritize cycle count needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Cardinal Health seeks candidates ready to excel in a demanding warehouse setting:

  • 1-2 years' experience preferred, especially in inventory or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse PIT equipment (Order Selector preferred).
  • Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet regularly.
  • RF scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift.
  • Must accommodate overtime with little to no advance notice.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in fast-paced distribution, meeting hourly quotas and standards.
  • Strong flexibility, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills.
