The Warehouse Person (Loader) - Evenings position in Hurricane, UT, is a full-time, labor-intensive role paying $22.80 per hour. This evening shift opportunity involves hand-building pallets for bulk and route trucks, operating forklifts and electronic pallet jacks, and maintaining strict order accuracy. You'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling incoming and outgoing trucks across varying weather conditions. Shift durations may vary based on workload, requiring regular, reliable attendance. In this role, you'll drive power pallet jacks or forklifts to picking areas, build loads according to load sheets or voice pick systems, and mark out-of-stock items. Responsibilities include wrapping finished pallets, staging loads for trucks, completing partial pallets, and upholding housekeeping standards. You'll load bulk trucks by selecting packages and flavors, ensure pallet stability with proper stacking and shrink-wrapping, and customize route truck loads based on sales orders. Unloading returned products and maintaining documentation accuracy are also core duties. Safety and efficiency are paramount in all tasks.
The minimum requirement is being 18 years or older. No prior experience is strictly required, but PepsiCo values candidates ready for physically demanding work.
Preferred skills include warehouse operations like order selecting, product storage, staging, and powered equipment use.
